St Georges Cathedral Perth Wedding Film, Shelby + Phillip
July 5, 2022
Highlight Film
Extended Version
Tell me about the location of the wedding – why did you choose it and what does it mean to you?
We hoped to have family and friends travelling from interstate so we wanted a location easily accessible. St Georges Cathedral is so grand and beautiful and my grandparents are Anglican so that made perfect sense. Matilda Bay offers the privacy and intimacy we were looking for but also very central, and I have heard nothing but good things about their food. It also isn’t a huge space, which is important since we have a much smaller guest list than previously planned.
How did you find me? Why did you pick me to capture your wedding day?
Your videos are absolutely beautiful! I saw one of your videos posted on facebook that you did of a facebook friend of mine.
Tell me about yourselves….
I am a podiatrist who is not working in research, and my partner is a doctor. We met on Tinder. We love travelling, hiking, watching movies, and of course catching up with friends and family. We want to enjoy life, start a family together, and fit in as many holidays as possible. We also absolutely adore our two animals, one siamese cat and one cavoodle.
The proposal? …Tell me a little bit about it…
Phill booked us into the Ritz Carlton for our 3 year anniversary. He said he had a present for me after we had room service, so I closed my eyes and when I opened them he was on one knee and proposed 🙂
