Based in Margaret River, Western Australia, Zaneta documents weddings, elopements, and intimate celebrations across the South West, Perth, and select destinations abroad.
Her approach to wedding photography and cinema is intuitive, atmospheric, and deeply artful — centred on capturing not only how a moment looked, but how it moved, softened, unfolded, and felt.
With more than 15 years of experience in weddings, a background in Fine Art, and a lifelong connection to analogue photography, her work carries a sense of texture, restraint, and emotional presence.
Blending digital, 35mm film, 120 medium format, and cinema, Zaneta creates imagery that feels quietly editorial yet deeply human — rooted in light, movement, atmosphere, and beauty that feels natural rather than performed.
I grew up surrounded by film photographs — small pieces of time, quietly kept and returned to over the years.
Growing up on a farm in Margaret River shaped the way I noticed light, landscape, quiet, and the small details that often pass unseen. Film still shapes the way I see now: patience, intention, presence. A slower way of noticing what is already there.
In a world that moves so quickly and lives so much on screens, analogue feels like a return to something more human — touch, texture, nature, and the quiet beauty of physical things.
It’s also how I hold my own life — in light, water, movement, and the small ordinary moments that become everything later.

I don’t approach a wedding as something to direct, but something to move within.
There is gentle guidance when it helps, but never anything forced. My role is to notice where light falls, where time needs space, and where the real feeling of the day is already unfolding.
